Hello, we're Pastors Jim & Julie Carney and we would love to have you come and see what God is doing at Current.


We have a contemporary style of worship, with a full band. The ministry style at Current is very practical, energetic, and full of personal examples.


We are a mixture of all ages with a majority of younger to middle age families. We come from all the surrounding cities Skiatook, Oologah, Owasso, Sperry, Claremore, etc.


We are constantly exploring, questioning, and wrestling with new and creative ways to live out and communicate the teachings of Jesus. Because we see faith as a journey, change is assumed, innovation is expected, and the new is welcomed.


Current is a nondenominational, Spirit filled church founded in 1963, with two campuses West Campus is at 1902 W. Maple St. across from the football field in Collinsville, Oklahoma and our East campus is at 14133 N. 137th E Ave on the east service road to HWY 169.

We are a ministry founded on biblical principles. We try to have a balanced focus on the Word of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit. We serve in a spirit of excellence with integrity and compassion for our community, our nation and our world. We have a call to reach the lost, especially the despised and rejected, to minister and serve them with the utmost level of dignity and respect.

We have adopted a strategy for children’s ministry from babies to College. Our desire is to train them up knowing God for themselves and knowing how to apply His Word to their daily lives, transforming their lives into the full life that Jesus died for us to have. The environment at Current, inspires maximum participation, promotes personal growth and satisfaction, and supports and molds effective leadership.
